 Life is a  CAROUSEL   

I thank the creator for the life that he gave me. Life has many meanings depending on how one views it. Life is also interpreted differently by each one of us and it is the attitude which matters how we handle and face it. Life is to be loved by each one of us and lived to the fullest despite of the many shortcomings, frustrations and sorrows that come in our way.

I personally do not agree that we should consider life from the situations and circumstances that we are in. Life is to be cherished and enjoyed. We must not judge life from the basis of the many sorrows, pain that life brings in our way; instead life on the other side offers each one of us better chances, better opportunities to adapt and improve, to challenge ourselves and to get better. Life may be short and we must not take it for granted. We are all blessed with a life so that we may be able to accomplish and complete the various purposes that each of us as individuals are called upon to do so whilst our stay here on earth.

Life should be viewed optimistically. I do not like to end my day without a smile on my face. I wake up in the morning thanking the Almighty for giving me another day, another chance to begin again. To be blessed with a life is such an honour.

To most of us, life is a challenge, a struggle and a continuous battle. True! But we must remember that we are given this life because we have the strength and courage to overcome, to face and cope up with what life presents to us. Sorrows, pain, the loss of loved one, miseries are all part of the journey of life, but we must never overlook the positive side of life such as love, joy and peace.

Through my experience, it is the ups and downs of life which makes life meaningful and worth-living. To live a life we must be ready to encounter and face hardships. We must be willing to face it with confidence accompanied with patience. The hardships along with other positive aspects of life are interwoven and when such things are knitted together- a wonderful fabric of life will be seen.

This reminds me of a song “At the beginning” by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis. The lyric of this particular song goes like this-

“Life is a road that I wanna  keep going,

Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing,

Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey”
