You are a LION and you are meant to ROAR!

Inspiration, Motivation, My Blog

You are not born for the ordinary. You are born to go beyond. Beyond boundaries, beyond your own restrictions, beyond your own comfort. You are meant to break the shackles of your fear.You are meant to be great. Coz you can. At times you may feel you are nothing, that you can do nothing, I do feel that too. There is this strange fear of failure, of being embarrassed, of being ashamed, of regret and failure.

You will struggle, we all do, its fine, its ok, its part of a long journey. That fear will be there, it will grow, it will grow on you even more, that fear of not being able to achieve everything, that life will not be enough to achieve everything you ever want. But that’s ok, life is a learning journey, you will get somethings, some will be a struggle, but at the end wouldn’t it all be worth living. “Life happens” and yours will happen too.

You will make it to the top, you will some day, some day soon. Keep hoping, keep working, keep struggling, coz that struggle is life.. that struggle is “Life Happening”. Fight for it, make it a struggle worth fighting, coz you are a Lion and you are meant to ROAR!

 Life is a  CAROUSEL

I thank the creator for the life that he gave me. Life has many meanings depending on how one views it. Life is also interpreted differently by each one of us and it is the attitude which matters how we handle and face it. Life is to be loved by each one of us and lived to the fullest despite of the many shortcomings, frustrations and sorrows that come in our way.

I personally do not agree that we should consider life from the situations and circumstances that we are in. Life is to be cherished and enjoyed. We must not judge life from the basis of the many sorrows, pain that life brings in our way; instead life on the other side offers each one of us better chances, better opportunities to adapt and improve, to challenge ourselves and to get better. Life may be short and we must not take it for granted. We are all blessed with a life so that we may be able to accomplish and complete the various purposes that each of us as individuals are called upon to do so whilst our stay here on earth.

Life should be viewed optimistically. I do not like to end my day without a smile on my face. I wake up in the morning thanking the Almighty for giving me another day, another chance to begin again. To be blessed with a life is such an honour.

To most of us, life is a challenge, a struggle and a continuous battle. True! But we must remember that we are given this life because we have the strength and courage to overcome, to face and cope up with what life presents to us. Sorrows, pain, the loss of loved one, miseries are all part of the journey of life, but we must never overlook the positive side of life such as love, joy and peace.

Through my experience, it is the ups and downs of life which makes life meaningful and worth-living. To live a life we must be ready to encounter and face hardships. We must be willing to face it with confidence accompanied with patience. The hardships along with other positive aspects of life are interwoven and when such things are knitted together- a wonderful fabric of life will be seen.

This reminds me of a song “At the beginning” by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis. The lyric of this particular song goes like this-

“Life is a road that I wanna  keep going,

Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing,

Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey”

Thank You.

ETERNAL HEROES

In the stillness of silence, I pondered

What are the great lives made of?

Doth they possess extraordinary strength-

Innate, acquired or divine intervention?

Luther, Gandhi and Teresa we know,

Ye noble life for all to see;

Immortalized deeds in the sands of time,

Cemented eternally in the earth’s folklore.

The narrow path of struggled and pain;

They have travelled, they have been through;

Easing the pangs of the grief stricken

The poor, the needy, the downtrodden,

The sick, the heartless and the soul-less world.

A solace of sort for the unfortunate,

A smile they bring unto the brows;

The face that bore the scars of darkness;

The burning desire, the iron-willed,

The great substance of strong mettle;

Selflessly giving, selflessly serving

to end the misery of humanity.

Wondering how such lives are made of,

Of the ordinary and the Halo nature,

Touch the altitude of the endless sky

Their greatness stretch beyond horizon

The answer lies not in the rich and mighty-

But living and striving a life

Of great conviction and true humility

Of valor and of character

The greatest reward for all to see;

The ‘crown of greatness on thy forehead’

Forever there shall it be.

Writing can be your compassionate friend.

I always loved writing. It has always been my trustworthy companion for as long as I can remember. I write on every occasion but mostly when life gets too tiring and when my heart feels too heavy to bear. I write when I am happy- to capture that joyful moment with pen and paper. I then read it when I feel bored or sad to cheer myself up. It helps more than anything else. I also write down all my sorrows and pains, my aching and heartbreaks.

Writing is how I cope with my despair and hurt. I feel lighter when I pour all of my hardships and shortcomings down in a paper. It by no means solves the problems but it helps me calm down.

Sometimes I like to write stories, create characters and put all my fantasies into the story. I lose myself in my own created world and for a few moments everything feels alright. I feel that I express myself better with writing than speaking.

Writing is not just my hobby; it’s my passion, my life. Things that cannot say, pains that I cannot utter and desires that fails to find its way to the lips flow down from my heart, to my fingers and find its home in a piece of paper.

I find solace and peace in writing when there’s a storm raging that threatens to swallow me. Even as I write this small piece I feel a sense of calmness settle over me and smile that forms on my face assures me that I am okay as long as writing leaves me not.
