It’s world Environment day. It’s a great day to remind ourselves to be grateful to the Environment around us. It’s not late. I remember bloging few days ago, making a promise that as soon as Imagination Breathing hits 1000 views I am going to launch a new creative adventure on IB. So today we have hit 1000 views in fact its 1114 views. Today’s views are shooting up after the post of 7 poems and 2 articles, written on Environment. Thank you for your contribution and thank you viewers. So the new adventure will be “PHOTOGRAPHY”. Theme for this month will be “Environment around you” . You are allowed to use your Mobile phone to capture images on Nature or you may use standard camera. Whichever is convenient for you. You have to send in your Photo, with your name, place, your photo, name of the location where the image was clicked and remember to give a caption to your photo, your are allowed to even add your thoughts to it.(Photos have to be original, clicked by you). Also send in the name of the device you used to click the photo. Send it to paulib005@gmail.com . This new adventure will help new talent to be displayed to the world. I understand you are busy people, but when was the last time you spent time with nature? I think it will be a good thing this month to spend some time with the nature and be grateful for the things it provides you. Click a photo and share it with the world, and let the world know that you live in a beautiful environment and you want your environment to remain beautiful. You are allowed to post articles on whichever topic you wish to write, provided they are original and inspiring, which will help someone you probably never met.
Few quotes for you on Environment.
“Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children’s children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.”
― Theodore Roosevelt
“If the bee disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live.”
― Maurice Maeterlinck, The Life of the Bee
“What’s the use of a fine house if you haven’t got a tolerable planet to put it on?”
― Henry David Thoreau, Familiar Letters
“A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people. ”
― Franklin D. Roosevelt.
“God has, in fact, written two books, not just one. Of course, we are all familiar with the first book he wrote, namely Scripture. But he has written a second book called creation.”
